Digital Producer (New York)
The Role
You’re an experienced Digital Producer or Digital Project Manager — meticulous with process, confident with clients, and energized by great design and technology. You’ll lead digital projects from kickoff to launch, navigating complexity with clarity and bringing teams together to do their best work. You’ll build strong relationships with clients, guide internal teams, and help deliver exceptional digital experiences.
Your Responsibilities
1. Manage the day-to-day execution of web and app projects — working quickly, carefully, and autonomously to ensure we deliver on time and on budget. You know how to translate a brand idea into a clear digital pathway — scoping, sequencing, and structuring projects so teams can do their best work.
2. Support pitching and business development: you know how to position Koto’s digital expertise whether to brand clients, new business leads, or digital-first founders.
3. Build strong relationships with both clients and internal teams — advocating for both and communicating clearly across every touchpoint.
4. Champion project-management best practices, delivering a high standard of care to our clients and technical partners. Flex easily between agile and waterfall methods depending on project needs.
5. Own project resourcing — you know who’s on what, what’s next, and where we need to plan ahead. Partner closely with our Senior Resource Manager to forecast and scale.
6. Negotiate confidently — fees, scopes, timelines, and feedback. You keep a cool head and bring clients back on-side when the going gets tough.
7. Report clearly on budgets, timelines, and KPIs — using our reporting tools to keep senior leadership and finance in the loop. Play an active role in tracking and supporting our monthly goals.
8. Think in systems — understand how brand, UX, and technology connect — help teams translate big ideas into beautifully executed digital experiences.
Our Responsibilities
1. We’ll ensure you have regular access to your manager and team leads to support your development and career path.
2. We actively reward strong performance with promotions, salary increases, and a discretionary annual bonus of up to 10%.
3. We’re committed to creating an inclusive and equitable workplace for all employees.
4. We support family leave and offer significant paid maternity and paternity time.
5. We encourage you to take your time off: 25 vacation days annually, 10+ U.S. holidays, and a full studio closure between Christmas and New Year.
6. We offer a 401(k) with a 4% company match.
7. We provide a monthly employee wellness stipend through Juno.
8. We give you access to YCN and fund relevant training and development opportunities.
9. We reward tenure with $5,000 and five extra days off at five years, and $10,000 and four weeks off at ten years.
10. We support work-from-anywhere opportunities across our five global studios, with advanced planning.
Our Culture
- At Koto, we encourage our team to be ‘rationally optimistic’ about the potential of our work, our clients, their businesses, and the power of brand.
- We pursue the best briefs, want to inspire meaningful work, and, for those interested, provide an opportunity to make the work of their lives. We are actively cultivating leadership, culture, and spaces to encourage this.
- We work in person with an optional WFH day on Friday and an additional 2 weeks of remote work per year. We believe this produces the best work, mentoring opportunities, collective learning, and culture.
- We encourage autonomy among our team members, allowing them to manage their own time, hours, and personal commitments to complete their work.
